With about five wipes under 1%, this was probably one of our best kills ever. The fight is very well tuned, and even with the 10% buff we still came close in the end. On a side note, Sindragosa died a couple weeks ago so only Arthas is left for Hard Mode progression.

Finally after weeks of clearing Icecrown we have completed our first shadowmourne. Congratulations to Mayu, and also to Icey for being selected as the next recipiant.

The fight probably took slightly longer to kill than it should have. The fight in and of itself is not very complicated, it is a fight that just requires no one to mess up as one person can cause a wipe. Onward to hard modes!

After wiping on this with no real end in sight earlier in the week, tonight we came in and with the first attempt realized that we would have the boss dead within a few attempts. Onwards and upwards to Arthas himself!

Doing this instance in this way brought a new level of difficulty that we havn't encountered in a long time. The fight could be comparable to Sarth+3 before the zerg strategy in terms of coordination and DPS requirements. This is a great fight and we hope to eventually see it in the 25man version.
